Bio: Robyn Elyse Sablove first participated in theatre during her early childhood when she was involved with CYT. Always having the passion for theatre in the back of her mind, she rediscovered it during her Sophomore year at Grossmont High School when she enrolled in Beginning Theatre. After being inspired by the talented upperclassmen actors, she decided to audition for Advanced Theatre and was selected to learn among the best actors at Grossmont. As a Junior, Robyn took on one of the lead roles in "A Piece of My Heart" as Martha O'Neill. Then she was the sound designer/sound board operator for "A Midsummer's Night Dream." During the summer of 2007, Robyn participated in UCLA's Acting and Performance Institute for six weeks. During her Senior year of High School, she played the part of Judith, the “evil” stepsister, in a dark rendition of the classic fairytale “Cinderella”, called “The Ash Girl.”  She was President of Drama Club in High school. In addition to Theatre/Drama Club she was involved in ASB, Class Office, Interact Club, Student Council, and School Site Council. During the summer of 2008, Robyn took on the role of Mrs. Doris MacAfee in her first musical “Bye Bye Birdie” with C. Hook Theater. Robyn is currently attending the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in La Jolla, California, where she is double majoring in Theatre and Mathematics.
