THOUSAND OAKS, CA – Young Artists Ensemble presents CHARLOTTE’S WEB directed by Directed by Laura Mason and assistant directed by Peyton Pugh at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts, 403 West Hillcrest Drive. Performances are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays May 4 - 20, 2018.

           Charlotte’s Web is the beloved story of a little girl who is given a piglet, which she names Wilbur, to raise as a pet. As Wilbur grows though, he becomes too costly for the farmers’ daughter to keep and is sold to her uncle. Wilbur has trouble making friends with the other animals on this new farm, until he meets Charlotte, a smart and caring spider, who becomes his savior and his most loyal friend.

AUDITION TIME SLOTS:

Saturday, March 3 at 9:45 am, 11:45 an and 2:00 pm

Sunday, March 4 at 10:00 am and 12:00 noon

 

Callbacks will be held on Monday, March 5 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm

PROCESS: Please prepare a one minute poem or monologue and wear clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in.  Be prepared to do improve, cold reading and movement.


IF CAST:  There is a fee of $180. Financial Assistance is available. Mandatory Parents’ meeting Thursday, March 8, 6:30 – 7:30 pm.  Rehearsals are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 and Saturdays 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
