YOUNG ARTISTS ENSEMBLE’S

HILLCREST PLAYERS

Presents

ROCK, PAPER, SHOOT!

A WORLD PREMIERE

THOUSAND OAKS, CA – Young Artists Ensemble’s Hillcrest Players presents the world premiere of ROCK, PAPER, SHOOT! A Seriously Fun Story About Not Taking Things Too Seriously!  The new work is written by Michael Fischer and directed by Andrea Tate.   Katie Sayeg is the assistant director.  Performances are Saturdays, March 21 and 28, 2015 at 1:00 and 3:00 pm.

About the new play: In the wild western town of Walnut Creek disputes are settled by a quick draw – of rock, paper, scissors! But this is no game to those vying for control of the town. Good thing they are protected by the local Hero, who has never lost. But what if that was to change…

Hillcrest Players gives young people an opportunity to flex their artistic muscles in a less demanding arena than a full-length production.   The one-act plays provide young performers with a positive experience to increase self-esteem, self-awareness and self-discipline.  ROCK, PAPER, SHOOT! is produced by Megan McDonough at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts.  Tickets are only $10 and can be purchased by calling 805-381-1246 or at www.yaeonline.com.  There is a 10% discount for groups of ten or more.
