Starlight Community Theater received several awards and nominations for our 2013-2014 Season Productions.  The Cast of “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” was invited to perform at the 2013-2014 ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence Ceremony on Monday, September 15 at the Tempe Center For The Arts.

It's A Wonderful Life - Chris Martinez

Christopher Martinez has enjoyed being on stage in Starlight’s productions as Bruce Bryce in “An Actor’s Life For Me,” as Jim in “Pump Boys and Dinettes,”, as George Bailey in “It’s A Wonderful Life,” as a Thespian in “Beyond The Door and Other Twisted Tales, as a Troll in “The Hobbit”, and as Tito Merelli in “Lend Me A Tenor.”  Chris enjoys the opportunity to spend time with his family members in various productions at Starlight Community Theater.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying - Thomas F. Graca

Thomas F. Graca is a veteran of the stage. A four-time ariZoni nominee and National Youth Arts award winner, Thomas has held numerous roles, most notably as Brody, his National Youth Arts award-winning role in “Grandma's Thanksgiving Farce.” He's also a veteran of musical theater, playing numerous roles including Bud Frump in Starlight’s “How to Succeed in

Business without Really Trying,” Sam August “An Actor’s Life For Me,” Corny Thomas in “The Corny & Bright Show,” Scarecrow in “The Wizard of Oz,” Nathan Detroit in “Guys & Dolls, Jr.,” Rooster, in “Annie, Jr.,” and Reginald in “Count the Moon.” Thomas is a student at the University of Arizona’s College of Fine Arts as a Theater Arts major and will continue his studies and focus on developing his talent in years to come.
