In celebration of the upcoming Broadway revival, Annie is back! 

San Diego – San Diego Junior Theatre kicks off their 64th season in Balboa Park with Annie! Annie is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her the parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. In adventure after fun-filled adventure, Annie foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, befriends President Franklin Roosevelt, and finds a new home and family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks.

Directed by Rayme Sciaroni, Annie opens at the Casa del Prado Theatre in Balboa Park Friday, October 28, and runs through Sunday, November 13. Performances are at 7 p.m. on Fridays, and at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. San Diego Junior Theatre embarked on its 64th season with 10 productions at their sites in Balboa Park and La Jolla. A private, non-profit organization, Junior Theatre is dedicated to providing all youth, ages 3 – 18, an opportunity to experience theatre arts through innovative classes, camps, performances and outreach programs.
