Take a break from December busy days at Richard Scarry’s Busytown. 

San Diego- Cars and trucks and other things GO, onstage at San Diego Junior Theatre’s production of Busytown. Adapted by Kevin Kling, with music by Michael Koerner, from Richard Scarry’s book, What Do People Do All Day, Busytown brings Grocer Cat, Alfalfa the Farmer, and the Pickle Car to life in this musical for the whole family. 

Directed by Torrie Dunlap, Busytown opens at the YMCA Firehouse Theatre in the village of La Jolla on Friday, December 5, and runs through December 21, 2008. Performances are at 7:00 pm on Fridays, and at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  Friday nights are Pajama Nights! Recommended for All Ages. Junior Theatre has embarked on their 61st season with ten productions at their sites in Balboa Park and La Jolla. Their primary mission continues to be to provide youth ages 3-18 the opportunity to experience the theatre arts through innovative classes, camps and outreach programs.
