‘A WHOLE NEW WORLD’ AT THE PREMIERE OF DISNEY’S ALADDIN
AT SAN DIEGO JUNIOR THEATRE
SAN DIEGO – San Diego Junior
Theatre invites you to kick off their 59th season in Balboa Park with
the Southern California premiere of Disney’s
Aladdin. Directed by Junior
Theatre’s artistic director, Michael Anthony, Disney’s Aladdin is recommended for children ages 6 and up.
Through the powers of a magic lamp, street boy Aladdin meets the colorful
Genie and is granted three wishes. He
uses a wish to become a prince to win the affections of Princess Jasmine.
But what happens when the evil Jafar steals the lamp? You’ll enter “A Whole New World” to find out.
Disney’s Aladdin will open at the Casa del Prado Theatre in
Balboa Park on October 27. Show times are Fridays at 7 p.m., and Saturdays and
Sundays at 2 p.m. through November 12. Ticket

Junior Theatre has embarked
on their 59th season with thirteen productions for three locations (Balboa
Park, Chula Vista and La Jolla). Their primary mission continues to be to
provide all youth ages 3-18 the opportunity to experience the theatre arts
through innovative classes, camps and outreach programs.
