 LUCKY BOY is here!

The Future of Musical Theatre is in the hands of the young! This generation’s Rock Musical has arrived, and it’s name is… “LUCKY BOY”!!

LUCKY BOY speaks to the fears, hopes and dreams of today’s young people the way that HAIR did in the 60’s, GREASE in the 70’s, THE WALL in the 80’s, RENT in the 90’s, and SPRING AWAKENING at the start of the new millennium! Now it’s 2014 – It’s time for LUCKY BOY!

Talented and charismatic high school senior, Jason Tripp, is on top of his game and ready to take on the world! Respected by the guys and chased by the girls, he’s destined to make it – make it big!

When his world is suddenly turned upside-down by changing events he goes from being top-dog to becoming a stranger in a strange place in the space of a single day. Little does he know that a serendipitous collision with an off-beat group of ‘loser’ kids would unexpectedly become his - and their - Saving Grace.

John Ryerson wrote the Book, Music and Lyrics for LUCKY BOY. His last New York offering, the musical, PIPER’S SONG, was received with some glowing praise! “It really looks like a potential winner!” “The music is a Rich Tapestry of Energy and Emotion…a Cornucopia of Musical Texture!”

“…recalling shows such as Hair, Promenade, Runaways and Urinetown – all good company for reaching a wide and varied audience.”*

LUCKY BOY is Directed by Award Winner, Bonnie Halligan. Kayla Hamilton’s choreography is Hot and Fresh!

The youthful cast of, LUCKY BOY, is Talented and Energetic, as they deliver the all-original score with Punch and Pizzazz!!
