Musical Theatre of Anthem Presents Honk!

Anthem, Ariz.  January 6, 2017 – Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) announces their upcoming production of Honk!, a delightful adaptation of one of the most beloved fables of all time. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother's protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl embarks on an adventure of self discovery, unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat, meeting a whole flock of unique characters, and eventually realizing that being different is not a bad thing to be. With its bouncing score and universal story, this touching musical with plenty of heart will captivate audiences.

The talented cast, comprised of award winners and nominees ages 11-adult, presents the show March 2-12 in Anthem. The award-winning production staff includes Director Laura O’Meara, Vocal Director Cris Wo and Choreographer Cydney Trent.

Performances take place Thursday – Sunday, March 2-12 at Musical Theatre of Anthem, 42323 N. Vision Way, Anthem, AZ  85086.  Times vary, see website for details.
