Musical Theatre of Anthem Presents Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.  

 

Anthem, Ariz.  September 30, 2013 – Musical Theatre of Anthem (MTA) brings to stage the Disney classic, Alice in Wonderland, Jr., October 24 - 27 in Anthem.  Join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!      

Disney's Alice in Wonderland Jr.is a fast-paced stage adaptation featuring updated dialogue and new arrangements of such classic Disney songs as "I'm Late," "The Un-birthday Song" and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah."  The production staff includes ariZoni award-winning Director Laura O’Meara, Vocal Director Ginette Rossi, and Choreographer Danielle Cicogna.   

“MTA is very excited to take on this classic Disney film,” said Jackie Hammond, MTA Producing Artistic Director.  “All of the characters you remember from your childhood are brought to life on stage by our very talented cast of 10-14 year olds.”
Performances take place October 24 and 25 at 7:00 p.m., October 26 at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m., and October 27 at 3:00 p.m. at MTA’s theater located at 42323 N. Vision Way, Anthem, AZ  85086.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.musicaltheatreofanthem.org.  Adult tickets are $18 and Students, Seniors and Children 12 and under are $15.
