Santa Monica’s Morgan-Wixson Theatre

Youth Education/Entertainment Series (Y.E.S.) proudly presents

The Jungle Book

July 16 – July 31, 2016

WHAT

A young boy, lost in the Indian jungle, is discovered by a pack of wolves. They name him Mowgli (Little Frog) and protect him from the many dangers of the jungle, including Shere Khan, an evil tiger. Bagheera the panther and the wise old bear Baloo teach Mowgli the laws of the jungle. Grown to manhood, Mowgli must confront his enemy Shere Khan in a battle to the death, and choose between staying with his friends in the wild or returning to the world of men. Rudyard Kipling's beloved stories have a powerful appeal to children of all ages, combining exciting and deeply moving narratives with humor and understanding of the basic principles of decency, kindness and brotherhood that help young people deal with the moral dilemmas of our own time and place.
