J*COMPANY Presents Tommy

The very first rock opera, The Who’s TOMMY, by Pete Townshend and Des McAnuff, is based on The Who’s 1969 double album rock opera Tommy. In post-World War IIEngland, after witnessing a traumatic event, Tommy loses his ability to speak or to care about life. He is saved, however, when he falls in love with pinball and becomes such an expert at the game that he rises to the stature of an international superstar and inspires youth around the world. This musical boasts a full rock band and many memorable songs including “Pinball Wizard”, “I’m Free” and “Amazing Journey”. The Who’s TOMMY will be produced with respect for J*Company’s classic family values.
