PINKALICIOUS
IS BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND FOR AN ADDITIONAL FIVE PERFORMANCES
DECEMBER 3 – DECEMBER 11, 2011

Hartford Children’s Theatre will bring Pinkalicious the Musical back by popular demand for an additional five performances. Based on the 2006 New York Times Best-Selling Children’s Book (HarperCollins), Pinkalicious the Musical will play HCT’s Carriage House Theatre (360 Farmington Avenue, Hartford) December 3 through December 11, 2011.

Pinkalicious can't stop eating pink cupcakes despite warnings from her parents. Her pink indulgence lands her at the doctor's office with Pinkititis, an affliction that turns her pink from head to toe — a dream come true for this pink loving enthusiast. But when her hue goes too far, only Pinkalicious can figure out a way to get out of this predicament.

HCT’s Pinkalicious the Musical features an all adult cast of five including Victoria Mooney and Christopher Cavallo of West Hartford as “Pinkalicious” and her broccoli-loving little brother “Peter,” Shannon Sobolow of Marlborough as “Mrs. Pinkerton,” Mike Bloom of Norwalk as “Mr. Pinkerton” and Norwich resident Anne Fowler as “Allison” and “Dr. Wink.”

Performances of Pinkalicious the Musical will take place at the Hartford Children’s Theatre’s Carriage House Theatre (360 Farmington Avenue, Hartford), easily accessible from I-84 and I-91. The performance schedule is as follows: Saturday, December 3 at 3 pm; Sunday, December 4 at 11 am and 2 pm; Sunday, December 11 at 11 am and 2 pm.

Tickets for Pinkalicious the Musical are $22 for Adults, $17 for Children (17 and under) & Senior Citizens and are available online at www.hartfordchildrenstheatre.org. For more information, please call the HCT Box Office on 860.429.7970. Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more.
