Chicago Street, Elgin, Illinois. The CYT Kane County presentation is based on the Mark Twain novel.  Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn were two legendary cut-ups who knew how to have a good time along the Mississippi in the 1800’s.  Imagine them reliving some of the fun of a more innocent era as this favorite story from America’s folklore is staged.

CYT is an after-school theater arts education program for kids ages 6-18, offering classes and camps to over 3,000 students in the Kane, Lake, McHenry, Northwest Cook, and DuPage County areas.  CYT of Kane County classes are held in the Elgin area.  CYT is a family-oriented organization dedicated to providing entertaining activities involving the whole family.
