WILD WEST HEROES PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL THEATER EXPERIENCE

Chula Vista , September 29 – An original production of Great American Tall Tales is presented by Christian Youth Theater (CYT) students at the October 27-29.

            Based on stories of legendary American heroes, this musical tells the tales of Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, Davy Crockett and Sally Thunder, Annie Oakley and Buffalo Bill, and many other familiar favorites.  This fast-paced energetic musical is not only entertaining, but educational as well.  These great American stories are part of the core curriculum and required reading for third graders in San Diego public schools. 

Performances are October 27 and 28 at 7:00 p.m., October 28 and 29 at 1:00 p.m., and October 28 and 29 at 4:00 p.m.  Great American Tall Tales will be held at the Chapman Performing Arts Center located at 1120 Eastlake Parkway , Chula Vista , 91915.

Ticket prices are $11 for individuals ages 3 – 19 and $13 for adults.  Special discounts are available for groups of ten or more.  Saturday, October 28 at 1:00 p.m. is a special Bargain Day performance with all seats at $9.  Tickets can be reserved by calling the box office at 619-588-0206 or 800-696-1929.
