Center Stage Productions presents "Little Women the Musical"

Center Stage Productions presents “Little Women the Musical, which follows the saga of the March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy—as they grow up in Civil War America. With a book by Allan Knee, music by Jason Howland and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, this show is sure to charm young and old alike. 

Set in Massachusetts while their father is off fighting in the Civil War, the four daughters come of age. Jo is feisty and fiercely independent, Meg is kindly and romantic, Beth is sweet and sophisticated and Amy is jealous and savvy.  This play is a family fun piece, with something for everybody; poignant moments, memorable songs, sword play, and humor all intertwined within the material and is sure to appeal to all audiences. 

Little Women the Musical opens Friday, November13th at the California Center for the Arts and runs that weekend, through Sunday November15th. Show times are Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7:30p.m and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $17. Group rates are available. Tickets are available at the CSP website at www.centerstagesd.com
