CCLO has been the West side’ premier performing arts program for youth since 1987. The

company is professional and enriching and was just voted Best of L.A. 2009 by L.A. Parent Magazine! At

CCLO, theatre is not conducted as a “rill”or as a talent contest. On the contrary, it is CCLO’ mission to

positively affect the lives of all students. With an emphasis on strengthening self‐esteem and awareness,

individuals are challenged to grow artistically and personally through professional training in a noncompetitive,

validating, interactive environment where energy, teamwork and trust are key. CCLO’

distinctive approach enables them to build a close ensemble and inspire students to share in a creative

process filled with pride, accomplishment and joy. All programs are designed as intermediaries between

Educational Theatre and the professional stage. High theatrical standards, belief in the empowering

effects of the theatrical process and an unparalleled commitment to all participants enable CCLO to

achieve their mission year after year. Discovery, learning and growth abound. Every student thrives

under the leadership of CCLO Founder, Diane Feldman, and her professional staff of talented and

passionate artists, designers, instructors and interns who, like her, are genuinely invested in the “rt”of

education.
