Canyon Crest Academy Envision Theatre Presents:

“Museum”

At the Proscenium Theatre

November 7, 8, 13, 14 & 15, 2014

Canyon Crest Academy Envision Theatre (CCA) Envision Theatre is thrilled to present the comedic play "Museum" by Tina Howe, November 7, 8,13,14 & 15, 2014 at the CCA Proscenium Theatre. Guest Directed by Jason Maddy with Technical Direction by Jeremy Sewell and Costumes by Janet Pitcher. Additional Production team includes CCA Student Kyra McCullough as Stage Manager and Matthew Razuki as Assistant Stage Manager and Chandler Hartley as Set Designer. CCA Envision Theatre appreciates our collaboration with CCA's Envision Visual Arts (EVA) transforming our lobby and theatre house set design into a museum, as well as the CCA Foreign Language Department for working with actors on their French, Japanese and American Sign Language.

THE STORY
Museum takes place on the final day of a group show of three fictional contemporary American artists being exhibited in a major museum of modern art. In the course of the day some forty people, played by 27 talented young actors, come to view the work of these "groundbreaking" Modern Artists. This fast paced comical journey is filled with art lovers, socialites, skeptics, foreigners, students, lost souls, fellow artists and of course, museum guards, and follows their interaction and struggle between Art and Ego. Filled with colorful characters you could find throughout everyday life, this final day promises to be a miraculous event.

The mission of CCA and CCAF is to "enrich the experience of every student, every day". Your tax-deductible donation to the CCA Foundation is vitally needed to continue our support of these programs.
