Temecula, CA, January 11, 2012: “Peter Pan” is an “awfully big adventure” for the whole family! Broadway Starz® Family Performer’s Theater Academy presents the Piers Chater Robinson’s Peter Pan the Musical January 20 - 29 at the Bob Burton Center for the Performing Arts in Fallbrook.  

With all the youthful energy of J.M. Barrie’s original novel and the skill and flair of two very talented all-aged local casts, Piers Chater Robinson’s “Peter Pan,” is truly an out-of-this-world journey.  The play focuses on the story of Wendy, John and Michael Darling and their adventure in Neverland with Peter Pan, the boy who never grows up.  

The musical presents neither songs from the popular 1953 Disney film, such as “You Can Fly!” nor songs from the 1954 Broadway version, such as “I Won’t Grow Up.” Instead, the score offers delightfully contemporary musical numbers complete with upbeat rock and roll undertones. The songs are both catchy and fun to listen to.   

Award winning youth director Jillian Stones has taken on the task of directing the show with two separate casts as well as joining the Broadway Starz® family as their new Artistic Director.  Both casts are comprised of local talent ranging in age from 4 – 40(+) years old and each is amazingly talented.  The “Peter” cast features Zach Sherman as Peter Pan, Jennifer Hardy as Wendy, Aaron Garnet as John, Steffan Thomas as MIchael, Noah Green and Ashley McMullen as Mr. and Mrs. Darling and Tim Harvey as Captain James T Hook .  The “Tink” cast features Jodi Herron as Peter Pan, Shannon Rowley as Wendy, Bobby Munro as John, Kyle Reid as Michael, Hunter Donovan and Ashlyn O’Brien as Mr. and Mrs. Darling and Garrett Spejcher as Captain James T Hook

The performance schedule is as follows: Friday, 1/20 & 1/27 at 7:00pm, Saturday 1/21 & 1/28 at 2:00 and 7:00pm Sunday 1/22 & 1/29 at 2:00pm,
