High School Senior Regional Honorees Showcase

This year we are held our first online general showcase for all areas and all ages (college and
younger), and we were so excited to post more than 300 showcases from around the
country! So much talent, and so inspiring to see you all making art during the
times when we need it the most. If you're a current
participant and haven't already, you can still email a headshot
and brief program bio for the website (and a resume if you'd like
us to include it in a portfolio that we'll put together for the agents we're in
contact with). There's a possibility
that eventually, after it's considered safe to resume large group settings, we'll
be able to have some of the honorees perform in a live showcase.
The submissions deadline has passed for this season, but due to the response
we will be holding another one for 2020-21:

He has been involved in both his school and community theatre for over six years now and has absolutely fallen in love with the performing arts. He plans to take it a step further and pursue a degree in musical theatre at Oklahoma City University. He is excited to see where the arts decide to lead him as begins the next chapters of his life.

High School Senior - ArizonaCertificate Bio: Cara Rizzi Richman has been involved in over twenty productions throughout the Phoenix metro area. She is currently a high school senior, and is one of the first in the state to earn the Arizona Arts Proficiency Seal on her diploma. Recent onstage credits include Wednesday Addams in “The Addams Family” (Act One Youth Theater), Lucy Van Pelt in “You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown” (Limelight Performing Arts), and the Blue Fairy in “My Son Pinocchio” (Act One Youth Theater). In 2019, she received the National Youth Arts Award for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical for her portrayal of the Blue Fairy. In addition to her onstage work, she also has experience offstage, most recently as the hair and makeup designer for “Little Shop of Horrors” at Desert Mountain High School, which earned her a spot as a Finalist at the 2019-2020 ASU Gammage High School Musical Theatre Awards for Best Hair/Makeup. She also likes to write and direct. In May 2019, she directed “Field Trip,” an original musical she wrote, composed, and choreographed, for an annual event at her school called Playfest.
