Bio: Michael, who began performing in the fifth grade, has been taking the stage in a range of productions from "Hello Dolly" at the Coronado School of the Arts to a bilingual production of "Romeo and Juliet" at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego. Michael is a two-time English Speaking Union Regional Shakespeare Competition Finalist, the 2010 Globe Honors winner for "Outstanding Actor in Spoken Theatre", a recipient of the 2010 NFAA YoungArts Silver Award in Theatre, and is a 2010 Presidential Scholar in the Arts. He is an active member of the La Jolla Playhouse Student Board of Trustees and enjoys acting, dancing (tap, jazz, hip-hop), singing, community drug-prevention service, and soccer.
